Founder, maker, and recovering perfectionist behind Mad Hatter's Candle Co.
My candle-making journey started in 2016, not in a cute Pinterest-worthy moment, but during a time when I was deeply struggling with my mental health. I felt lost and tangled in the chaos of my own mind, much like the Mad Hatter himself.
But like the Hatter, I realized something important: I could choose to create beauty from that chaos.
Candle-making became my anchor. A way to quiet my racing thoughts. A way to reconnect with my hands, my breath, my body. It was therapy before I had the language for it. And slowly, what started as survival became passion.
In 2023, that passion evolved into Mad Hatter's Candle Co. I built this brand around the emotional truths I'd lived—that emotions need support, wonder heals, intention grounds us, and wellness is holistic. Every collection reflects a piece of my journey and my commitment to creating products that help you feel more at home in your space and in yourself.
Scent is an extension of emotional wellness, so our candles are crafted with clean ingredients and intentional design for those who feel deeply and refuse to settle for mass-produced emptiness.

Clean Ingredients, Thoughtfully Chosen
As a maker, ingredient quality is non-negotiable for me. Everything I use is chosen intentionally, not just for performance, but for how it affects your space, your body, and your experience.
Wax
Our candles are made with a natural blend of soy and coconut wax—not paraffin. Paraffin wax is petroleum-based and commonly used in mass-produced candles, where it can release more soot and unwanted byproducts when burned. Soy and coconut wax are plant-based, renewable, burn cleaner, and allow for a slower burn with better scent throw—without filling your home with unnecessary toxins.
Wicks
We use 100% cotton wicks, free from lead and heavy metals. This helps ensure a cleaner burn with minimal soot and a safer, more consistent flame.
Fragrance Oils
All fragrance oils are sourced from reputable U.S. suppliers and are infused with natural essential oils. They are formulated to avoid known harmful ingredients, including phthalates, parabens, organ toxins, acute toxins, and all substances listed under California Prop 65. This means you get rich, complex scents—without the harsh chemicals commonly found in cheaper, mass-market candles.
