Meet The Maker!

Hi, I’m BreAnne—founder of Mad Hatter’s Candle Co.  

My love for candle-making began at a crucial point in my life when I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2016. During that time, I found myself relating to the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland—trapped in a constant battle with my own mind. But like the Mad Hatter, I realized I had the power to create something beautiful out of chaos.  

Candle-making started as a therapeutic outlet. It gave me a way to cope, to heal, and to express the emotional highs and lows I was navigating. Over time, that creative escape turned into something much more—a deep passion for the craft.

In 2023, I officially launched Mad Hatter’s Candle Co.—a brand born from experience, fueled by purpose, and built with heart. 

The Moodscapes Collection was inspired by my journey with a mood disorder and is designed to support the many emotional states we all go through.

The Wonderland Collection honors the brand name and pays tribute to the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland and the characters that helped me embrace my own version of madness.  

Mad Hatter’s Candle Co. isn't your basic candle brand. It’s a reflection of resilience, self-expression, and the belief that even in the darkest moments, we can create our own light.  Thanks so much for being here! ♡
